  • I'm not sure why the powers-that-be didn't pursue the death penalty, the proper circumstances were there... I believe it was because she was deemed to be mentally ill. They just wanted a conviction and that they got. The fat lady hath sung.

  • Diehl-Armstrong is actually extremely intelligent - Mensa, graduated top of her class, etc. I've no doubt she was the "brains" (a term to be used loosely) behind this whole tragedy. (Note: I'm from the Erie area and am passing along facts that were published only in the local papers.)

  • While not mentioned in the news article, this woman is actually dying of cancer with only a few years left.... maybe better to let her suffer a certain-to-be painful death than to let her simply go to sleep?

  • I've owned a specialty shop for over nine years now, and am STILL kind of appalled when an older woman comes in dressed much too youthfully for her age. And yes, those women do "turn heads" alright, but it's out of disbelief and pity.
